Note: LS520A is using a negative control for enable. So, P5 should be 0V when LS520 is on. It depends on type of the LCD controller boards, in case LS520 is not working, be sure connect P5 to ground,
In most cases, replacing defective LS520A may not solve the problem, because the defective LS520A is caused by bad CCFL lamps. So, when replacing LS520A inverters, you also need to replace two CCFL lamps, too. However, the most cost effective solution will be upgrading to our UB54220X2R82D+MS534EXT LED kits and to extend its life and improve its performance. A wire adapter is included. It is easy to install, no technical skill required, no soldering required, anyone can do it!

Note: This LED upgrade kit UB54220X2R82D+MS534EXT is for a 10.4 inch LCD that was originally equipped Taiyo Yuden LS520A with dual CCFL lamps that were mounted on top and bottom. Taiyo Yuden LS520A has been used on a different size of LCD screens. Please double check your LCD screen’s size before purchasing
