How to Activate Touch screen on Allen Bradley PanelView
Touchscreen compatibility after upgrading to our LED kit varies depending on the Allen-Bradley PanelView mainboard model. If your touchscreen does not function properly after installation, please follow the instruction below:
Open back cover, Remove front panel assembly and Remove LCD screen
Identify the mainboard part number and compare with the below table
Identify UIJ Chip and remove pin 2 from circuit board on the mainboard as shown photo
That is it! Now it should solve the touch problem. If the problem still exists, Please email your request to techsupport@lcdparts.net along with a few images of your mainboard.
